Switching Plans

Overview

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period.

How to switch plans

  1. Log in to your TheraScripts account
  2. Go to Account SettingsBilling
  3. Click Change Plan
  4. Select the plan you want to move to
  5. Confirm the change

Upgrading

Effect: Immediate. As soon as your upgrade is confirmed, you have access to all features and limits of the new plan.

Billing: You will be charged a pro-rata amount for the remainder of the current billing period at the higher rate. Your next full billing cycle will charge the new plan rate.

Example: If you upgrade from Pro to Studio halfway through your billing month, you pay roughly half a month's difference immediately, then full Studio pricing from your next renewal date.

Downgrading

Effect: Applied at end of period. Your current plan features and limits remain active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

Billing: No charge at the time of downgrade. Your next renewal will charge the lower plan rate.

Data: If the lower plan has lower limits (for example, moving from Studio to Pro reduces your monthly script count), your existing data is preserved — you just have fewer credits available going forward.

Moving to Free

Downgrading to the Free tier follows the same logic as downgrading to a lower paid plan. See Cancelling your subscription for the full detail on what happens when you move to Free.

Annual vs. monthly

You can switch between monthly and annual billing at plan renewal time. If you want to switch from monthly to annual immediately to take advantage of the ~17% annual saving, contact support and we will arrange this.
