Payment Methods

Overview

TheraScripts uses Polar as its payment and subscription management partner. All card transactions are processed securely through Polar's payment infrastructure.

Accepted payment methods

  • Visa (credit and debit)
  • Mastercard (credit and debit)
  • American Express

All major UK and international cards on these networks are accepted.

What we do not store

TheraScripts does not store your card details. Payment processing is handled entirely by Polar. Your card information is tokenised and managed by their payment infrastructure, which meets PCI DSS compliance standards.

Invoices and receipts

A receipt is emailed to your account email address after each successful payment. If you need a VAT invoice for business purposes, contact support with your billing details and we will issue one.

Failed payments

If a payment fails:

  1. You will receive an email notification from Polar
  2. The system will automatically retry the payment over the following days
  3. If payment is not resolved within the retry window, your account will be moved to the Free tier

If you need to update your payment method, go to Account SettingsBillingManage Payment Method. This opens the Polar billing portal where you can update your card details directly.

Currencies

Prices are shown and charged in British Pounds (GBP). If your card is issued in another currency, your card provider will apply its standard exchange rate.
